Tambouille is the result of a collaboration between 4 companies: Delphine Boonkens, a Belgian horse trainer and expert in liberty work, Olivier Mahiant, actor, singer and musician aka Pil-Poil, the Bordeaux-based equestrian and theatrical circus collective Azul Bangor in the show, and the Tempo d’Eole company, the show’s conductor, created especially for the Abbey.
“Sold! Going, going, gone! Do you like the show, ladies and gentlemen?! It’s for sale too! Come on, a little effort!” In the circus ring, anything is possible. Anything can be done, then undone the next moment. Everything is for sale. Solange and Baudouin, two auctioneers, would even sell you the sand if they could! In this fleeting reality, where everything comes undone as soon as it’s tied, encounters sometimes awaken the unthinkable.
