2024 Creation

By re-exploring the archetypes of traditional circus, the company Tempo d’Eole aims to question our modern society: patriarchal, hierarchical, disconnected from animals and its own nature. At the heart of the project is the desire to reflect on our identities, on aspects of gender, species, and the roles they lead us to adopt. In a falsely nostalgic way, we will use the image of traditional, hierarchical, and patriarchal circus to develop an allegory of our current Western society and to challenge the codes and boxes imposed upon us.
